About the event
This year’s theme is choose to challenge, a rallying cry for people all over the world to stand in solidarity and choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequity. We like the IWD believe that together, we can create an inclusive world.
Part of this challenge is recognising the many challenges women face during and after a global crisis like Covid-19.
Whether as a result of care-giving responsibilities, disparate economic inequalities, or exposure to gender based discrimination, UN Women data already suggests more support is required to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on women globally.
In this session we will be hearing from leaders on how they are navigating these challenging times and creating opportunities for themselves and others and the lessons they are learning as they go along.
We will also hear from speakers on the practice of courageous leadership and practical ways to apply this in career, business and our day-to-day lives.
